Frequently Asked Questions
All your personal content—including notes, highlights, bookmarks, reading progress, and drawings—is stored locally on your device. If iCloud is enabled, your data is synchronized securely through your personal iCloud account. We do not host, store, or have access to any of your personal content on our own servers.
Journal Bible does not require you to create a custom account or register personal details on our servers. Therefore, there is no online account to delete. If you want to delete your local app data, you can simply delete the app from your iOS device. To delete data synced to iCloud, go to iOS Settings -> [Your Name] -> iCloud -> Storage -> Journal Bible, and choose 'Delete Data from iCloud'.
Please check the following requirements: 1. Ensure you are signed in with the same Apple ID on both devices. 2. Verify that iCloud Drive is turned ON in iOS Settings -> [Your Name] -> iCloud -> iCloud Drive. 3. Make sure 'Journal Bible' is allowed to use iCloud in the iCloud apps list. 4. Check that both devices are connected to a stable internet connection and have sufficient iCloud storage.
Journal Bible is fully functional offline for translations which are not Online only.
We use Firebase Crashlytics to monitor application stability. If a crash happens, it sends anonymous crash logs containing device model info, operating system version, and the code stack trace. It does not collect or share any of your notes, reading history, drawings, or other personal text.
